Located on the Seine estuary, between Honfleur and Le Havre, it is today one of the region’s tourist attractions. A showcase of French technology, it broke, during its construction, the world record for cable-stayed bridges, with 856 meters of central span and approximately two kilometers in length.

Seen from the sky, it is even more impressive and acquires a new dimension, both light and graceful.

On the way back you will fly over Honfleur, this little port jewel of Calvados with its Vieux Bassin and its houses with facades covered in slate. City of impressionists!

 Departing from Deauville Saint Gatien Airport, take to the cliffs of Etretat. After flying over the Seine Estuary between Honfleur and Le Havre, you’ll skirt along Port 2000, then the Alabaster Coast until you catch sight of this breathtaking spectacle right in front of you!

These gigantic white chalk cliffs are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Impressionist painters spent a great deal of time here, and the writer Maurice Leblanc used them as the backdrop for the intrigues of his famous gentleman burglar, Arsène Lupin.

The 80-metre-high Arche d’Aval owes its singular shape to nature and marine erosion, not forgetting the famous Aiguille, which measures around 55 metres and invites us to imagine and enjoy a beautiful flight.

Departing from Caen-Carpiquet airport, discover a veritable open-air museum!

The beaches along the coast still show many traces of the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy, such as batteries, bunkers and cemeteries including the famous American Cemetery. This flight with commentary will give you a bird’s eye view of that memorable day on 6 June 1944.

You’ll fly over Arromanches, Port en Bessin and the American cemetery. As you turn around Omaha Beach, you’ll see the Pointe du Hoc in the distance. Nearly 155,000 soldiers embarked on a battle that would seal the outcome of the Second World War.

It’s also an opportunity to contemplate the magnificent natural heritage of these unspoilt beaches. A whole page of history will unfold before your eyes.
